As a solo traveller, I loved the friendly and hospitable atmosphere of the hostel. the woman running the place was very welcoming, and the other guests were kind and friendly. the facilities were excellent, with a clean and well-equipped kitchen where I could cook my own meals just like at home. the accommodation felt like a house, and the historic building added to the lovely and atmospheric vibe. the location was perfect, within walking distance of the train and bus station, as well as the lake and the harbour. it was a great experience for a solo traveller like me.
Felt lucky, no complaints.

The location of the hotel is excellent, with a short walk to the lake and harbor, making it convenient for business guests. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, even in the dormitories, with Scandinavian style beds and plenty of room for each guest. The hostel also provides a well-equipped kitchen and outdoor eating area for guests to use.
The hostel lacks soundproofing, which can be a drawback for light sleepers as noise from other rooms can be heard.
